I have a casino question: The Oxford casino had to be at least 100 miles from the other casino in Bangor. So how can Lewiston (20 miles from Oxford) and Biddeford (55 miles away) be considered in November’s referendum vote?
If one has to be 100 miles away, why are the others getting away with 20- and 55-mile distances?
Maybe the people, when they vote, will make it fair.

Editor’s note: The proposed legislation behind the ballot questions that would create casinos in Biddeford and Lewiston would also change the existing law, exempting those facilities from the 100-mile provision in current law.
