POLAND — The Thompson Lake Environmental Association All American Barbecue will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Agassiz Village Camp, off Johnson Hill Road.

TLEA invites its friends and neighbors to attend the fifth anniversary of its premier social event of the summer. The menu will feature marinated barbecued chicken, side dishes, homemade desserts, lemonade and water. The price is $18 a person and children 10 and under may eat free. It will be served on the porch at the camp.

The Don Campbell Trio will perform original songs as well as some “golden oldies.” TLEA specialty items will be on sale, including the new Thompson Lake woven throw. A fundraiser raffle will be held featuring an original framed photo by Kathy Cain and a throw along with a director’s gift basket.

Tickets may be purchased or reserved through any TLEA director, going to www.thompsonlake.org or calling Sharon Rice in West Poland at 998-2088. Reservations and ticket purchases must be made by Monday, Aug. 15. Reserved tickets may be paid for at the barbecue.
