Thanks to the politicians in Washington, Standard & Poor’s recently downgraded America’s credit rating. All of them should be ashamed of themselves for the recent debacle of the debt crisis.

I hope it is obvious to everyone that the only concern these people have is their re-election. All of them need to be replaced. No exceptions. Sometimes the good have to be severed along with the bad in order to make things right.

Those elitist politicians in Washington have absolutely no concerns about people’s welfare. They are only concerned with their own kingdom and the make-believe world they have so richly created for themselves.

They are truly horrible.

They pass laws, then exempt themselves from almost everything that common folk have to abide by. They are home now to find out what their constituents think. What a farce. Has anyone tried to contact one of them? They have more people running interference for them than a running back in the NFL.

Money talks in Washington. Who got helped when things were bad? GM, the banks, Wall Street — not the common folk.

They refer to Social Security as an entitlement; I have been paying into that system since I was 15 years old. Same with Medicare. They took people’s money from the “trust” and can’t figure out how to pay it back with tax money.

The only way to cure the disease in Washington is to remove the cause — all 535 members of the Congress. They have no shame.
