AUBURN — First Auburn Seniors will meet Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the Hasty Community Center for the annual indoor summer picnic. Members of New Auburn Seniors will share the day. Card games will be played in the morning followed by hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch. Bingo will be played after lunch.

The next regular meeting of First Auburn Seniors will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the American Legion on Washington Street North. The Board of Directors will meet at 10 a.m. President Don Nason will conduct the regular meeting at 11 a.m. A basket raffle and bingo will be held after a bag lunch.

Tickets will be on sale for the Thanksgiving dinner at the Green Ladle on Thursday, Nov. 17. The cost is $7.

Fifty-eight members attended the Aug. 3 meeting. Jean Hathorne was welcomed as a new member. Attendance winners were Joan Webb and Millie Brainerd. Pot of Gold winners were Gabrielle Gorten, Joan Webb and Leane Ford. Winners of the special drawing were Nancy Roy, Callie Adams and Tony Darling.
