MINOT — Frank W. Smith, 50, of Minot, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, at his home.
He was born in Norway, Aug. 30, 1960, the son of Calvin L. Smith Jr. and Wilda Brown Smith. He graduated from Edward Little High School and had been a logger and a woodsman for Phil Mitchell Sr., as well as doing auto body work.
He enjoyed fishing, racing at Oxford Plains Speedway and was a huge NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Sandra Pellerin; his mother and stepfather, Wilda and Sidney Dunham; his sons, Donovan Smith and Chris Jarvis; his daughter, Taylor; a stepson, Josh Jarvis; two stepdaughters, Victoria and Elizabeth Stockwell; his brothers and sisters, Edward Smith, Charlotte Blier, David Smith, Becky Smith and Carol Hadley; a half-brother, Clifford Smith; grandchildren, Kate Jarvis, D’Lanie Jarvis, Ian Wesley Muncey, Marley Reed Jarvis, Bryson Jarvis, Tristin Whyte and Cade Jarvis; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father.
