Mexico — The Mexico Police Department responded to 69 incidents from Aug. 4 to 16.

Among the incidents since Aug. 4 were:

Theft

* On July 25, RadioShack reported an unknown person had entered the store and stole a laptop valued at $500.

* On July 28 a Summit Street resident reported a theft of jewelry and cash totalling $2,000 from their home.

Criminal mischief

* On Aug. 4 at 1:54 p.m. a Holman Avenue resident reported an unknown person keyed his van that was parked in the driveway. Estimated damage to the van was $500.

Arrest

* Jermey Belskis, 24, of Roxbury Road, outstanding warrant, at 5:45 p.m. July 30 at Roxbury Road. The warrant was issued by Rumford Police for burglary, assault and violating conditions of release. Belskis was arrested by officer Kyle Matthews without incident and transported to Oxford County Jail.
