LEWISTON — Rose Y. Burnham, 83, of 1103 Sabattus St., Lewiston, died Monday, Aug. 15, at Marshwood Health Care Facility.

She was born in Hartford, Conn., March 3, 1928, the daughter of Irving J. and Almanda (Michaud) Bennett. She was employed at Knapp Shoe in her younger years and also drove school buses for Hudson Bus Line for 30 years. Rose enjoyed collecting antiques and gambling at Hollywood Slots and Foxwoods.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ray P. Burnham of Lewiston; a brother, Nelson I. Binette and his wife, Florence, of Lewiston; four nieces, Denise Jorgenson, Diane Frank and Wanda and Romona Burnham; a nephew, Daniel Binette; and many other nieces and nephews.
