Patrol officers responded to 92 complaints from 5 p.m. Aug. 7 to midnight Aug. 15. These do not include basic traffic stops.

Arrests/summonses

Aug. 8 at 4:40 p.m., Kenneth Crader, 46, of Oakland was summoned by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Bridge Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle and attaching false plates. Crader is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 9 at 8:28 a.m., Erik Frost, 37, of Dixfield was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Frost posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 9 at 4:45 p.m., Dolly Turbide, 44, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Ave on a charge of operating after suspension. Turbide posted $50 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 11 at 1:30 a.m., Danielle Tuttle, 19, of Bethel was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on River Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Tuttle, who was additionally charged with illegal possession of marijuana and alcohol by a minor, was unable to post bail. She was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Aug. 11 at 2:07 a.m., Tia Flaherty, 20, of Rumford was summoned by acting  Cpl. Donald Miller on Route 2 on a charge of operating beyond license restriction. Flaherty is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 11 at 4:32 a.m., 17-year-old Rumford male juvenile was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Prospect Avenue on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. The teen is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 11 at 4:32 a.m., Corey Theriault, 18, of Rumford was summoned by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Prospect Avenue on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Theriault is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 11 at 7:44 p.m., Erik Mawhinney, 27, of Rumford was summonsed by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Hartford Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Mawhinney is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Aug. 12 at 10 a.m., Gerard Vallee, 86, of Rumford was summoned by Sgt. Tracey Higley on River Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Vallee is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 14 at 12:12 a.m., Dwayne Cormier, 31, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Route 2 on a charge of operating under the influence. Cormier posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 14 at 11:43 a.m., Christopher Upton, 27, of Portland was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Falmouth Street on a charge of domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening and violation conditions of release. Upton, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Aug. 12 at 8:25 a.m., Matthew Gerrish, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 5 on a charge of operating under the influence. Gerrish who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Assault

Aug. 12 at 12:02 a.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage investigated an assault on Prospect Avenue. Paperwork is to be reviewed by District Attorney for possible charges.

Burglary

Aug. 8 at 1:37 p.m., Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated a burglary at a residence on Falmouth Street. A TV, Xbox and snowshoe boots valued at $550 were stolen.

Aug. 13 at 3:19 p.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated an attempted burglary on Washington Street. Nothing was taken and victim believes the suspects were scared away upon her return.

Theft

Aug. 8 at 11:56 a.m., Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated the theft of a gift card from a residence on Erchles Street. The card was cancelled before it was used.

Aug. 12 at 8:25 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated the theft of items from a business on Bridge Street. The store refused to prosecute. Trespass warning was issued.

Aug. 12 at 8:23 p.m., Patrolman Brock Clukey investigated the theft of  gasoline from a Route 2 business. The suspect was located and returned to pay for the gas.

Wanted

James Barbioni, 27, Dixfield, is wanted on several warrants for unpaid fines for trafficking tobacco, disorderly conduct and violation conditions of release. The warrant is dated Aug. 4, 2011.
