AVON — Michael and Melany Buxton of Avon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Casey Buxton, to Curtis Lyle Tyler, both of New Sharon. Mr. Tyler is the son of Jenny Presby of Avon and Terence Tyler Sr. of Strong.
The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Mt Abram High School in Salem and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is currently employed as sales representative for the Pepsi Beverages Company in Augusta.
The future bridegroom is also a 2003 graduate of Mt Abram High School in Salem and a 2006 graduate of Central Maine Community College in Auburn with a degree in electromechanical technology. He is currently employed as an electrician for Tripp Electric in Farmington.
The couple has planned an Oct. 15 wedding.
