AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the American Legion Post 31, 426 Washington St. for their regular meeting. Following the meeting and a bag lunch, bingo will be played.

When the group met Aug. 10 under the direction of President Helen McGuire, 39 members were present. Trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin reported seats were filling up fast for the bus trip Oct. 10 to Meredith, N.H. to view foliage, and the price of the trip is $68, which includes bus fare, a four-hour long train ride and a buffet luncheon at Common Man Inn. Phillip Nelson, commander of Alden M. Gayton Post #31 and a member of Robin Dow Seniors, announced that Post #31 is having a steak and lobster feed Sept. 11 with live music by All Veterans Review from 3-6 p.m. for $20 per ticket. This event will be open to the public. For a ticket, call 783-6992.

Birthdays for August were acknowledged. Attendance prize winners were Shirley Thiriet and Caroline Chapman; Pot of Gold winners were Betty Hebert, John Watson and Virginia Houston; and raffle ticket winners were John Watson and Jackie Lothrop.
