AUBURN — Stephanie McQuade has been hired on a full-time basis by Central Maine Orthopaedics to serve as the scheduling secretary for its Maine Spinecare program after serving in a temporary role for several months.
McQuade will serve as the primary liaison for patients and physicians, and will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing physician referrals as well as scheduling patients’ initial and follow-up appointments, physical therapy appointments and any imaging scheduling that is needed.
Prior to joining CMO, the Boston native worked in Portland as a medical secretary for Maine Medical Center Pediatric Associates and for Drummond, Woodsom & MacMahon as a legal secretary, before spending a decade in Sedona, Ariz., working as a guest services representative for Sunterra Resorts.
A mother of one, McQuade graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in communications studies. She currently resides in Auburn.
