High winds early Monday morning knocked down a large tree at the Wolf Cove Inn on Jordan Shore Drive in Poland. Power lines were pulled from the inn and a backup generator was put into use around 5 a.m., innkeeper Helen Hoke said. No one was injured, said Marie Boyle, owner of Wolf Cove.
