AUBURN — Central Maine Community College will offer Human Resources Boot Camp on Fridays, Sept. 23 and 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the program is $495 and includes all materials.

The series is designed for individuals new to the human resources profession or supervisors and managers who need to understand the human resources function.

This introductory course will offer a comprehensive overview of the human resources roles and responsibilities and provide critical information to help reduce potentially costly lawsuits and improve employee management skills. Topics include: human resource management, recruitment and selection, employee development, performance management, employment law and compensation and benefits. This training program is ideal for human resource generalists, managers and supervisors from any type of business or nonprofit environment.

The course will be facilitated by Beverly MacCallum. MacCallum is human resources business partner and assistant vice president for Androscoggin Bank who has been in the human resources field for 20 years and has spent the last 15 at Androscoggin Bank. She is a member and past president of Central Maine Human Resources Association.
