RUMFORD — Edmund and Laura Leber of South Berwick are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Greta Leber of Miami, Fla., to Thomas Nisbet, of Miami, Fla., son of Berl and Sandra Nisbet of Rumford.

Miss Leber is a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in marine science. She is currently employed as a graduate student in meteorology and physical oceanography at the University of Miami in Miami, Fla.

Mr. Nisbet is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is currently employed as a software developer at Tyler Technologies in Falmouth, where he telecommutes from Miami, Fla.

The wedding will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, 2012, at First Federated Church in South Berwick.
