CASCO, Maine (AP) — Acadia National Park has reopened campgrounds and the Park Loop Road, but four state parks including Sebago Lake State Park are still closed following Tropical Storm Irene.
Department of Conservation spokeswoman Jeanne Curran says Sebago Lake State Park will be closed until Wednesday because of tree damage and downed power lines.
Also closed is Mackworth Island in Falmouth because of downed trees.
Curran says the Eagle Island State Historic Site, home of Adm. Robert Peary, is closed but may reopen Tuesday. The Warren Island State Park off Lincolnville is closed Monday, as well.
