LEWISTON — The Maine Crafts Association, in collaboration with the University of Southern Maine’s Atrium Art Gallery, is calling for entries for “The Inspired Hand 5,” a juried biennial exhibition.
Featured will be works in ceramic, fiber, glass, metal, wood and stone. Pieces may be two- or three-dimensional.
Deadline for submittals is Sept. 16. The exhibition is open to MCA members though submissions from nonmembers are welcome. If juried into the exhibition, participants must become members in the professional category.
They may include 1 to 3 pieces of their choice, created within the past two years, in the exhibition that will run from Jan. 20 to March 16, 2012.
Portfolios should include a CD with images of current work, or slides and photographs and a resume. There is no entry fee. For more details, contact Robyn Holman at 753-6554 or [email protected]; or visit www.usm.maine.edu/atriumgallery.
