FARMINGTON — Xena is the pet of the week at the Franklin County Animal Shelter. This exotic beauty is a Pharaoh Hound. Xena is very sweet and gentle. She knows basic commands such as sit and lay. Xena walked in Paws for a Cause, the recent walkathon hosted by Clearwater Veterinary Hospital. She seemed to be prancing while she walked around downtown.

This pretty lady is good with other dogs, loves her toys and loves attention. Xena should go to a home without young children although she would love to play ball with older children.

New dogs at the shelter include a pit mix from Strong.
