AUBURN — The city has scheduled a one-time-only curbside brush collection next week to gather debris from Tropical Storm Irene.

According to the Public Works Department, all brush and branches must be curbside no later than 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6. The only material that will be collected will be brush and branches, and no more than one truck-load of material per residence will be collected.

Residents may also drop their brush and branch debris at Auburn Public Works on Gracelawn Road in the fenced in parking lot between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
