LEWISTON — Irene Theresa Moreau, 80, of Lewiston passed away Aug. 30, at St. Mary’s following a long illness. Irene was born in Lewiston on Oct. 1, 1930, to parents Albert and Lucienne Nolette.

She enjoyed her grandson, shopping and her pets.

Irene worked for a wonderful family for many years as a nanny. They were her second family and she loved them very much.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Moreau, her mother Lucienne Nolette, and father, Albert Nolette.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa and husband Scott Peters, and Brenda Fortin. She also leaves behind a grandson, Mathew Fortin.

Irene will be sadly missed, and remembered always as the best mom ever!
