AUBURN — Central Maine Community College President Scott Knapp has announced the following staff appointments:
Barbara Barth is the gender equity coordinator. She is a native of Youngstown, N.Y., and resides in Auburn. She earned a baccalaureate degree at Niagara University, a master’s degree in economics at the University of Connecticut, and a master of divinity degree from Christ Seminary and Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. A member of the adjunct faculty at CMCC since 2007, she has also taught at the University of Connecticut, Forest Park Community College in St. Louis, and Galveston College in Texas.
Matthew Dumais is the student services representative/Franklin and Lincoln counties. A native of Lewiston who currently lives in Auburn, Dumais graduated from Thomas College with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He worked previously in admissions and registration at the CMMC College of Nursing and Health Professions. He will be working at different sites in Franklin County and at the CMCC/Lincoln County Health Care Education Center in Damariscotta.
Trisha Malloy is director of financial aid. She earned a bachelor’s degree in leadership and organizational studies from USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College. She has more than 15 years experience in financial aid. She was employed at FAME as a program officer and also as a college access counselor. She has also been employed by Student Loan Xpress Inc. and at USM as financial aid associate. She lives in Auburn.
Todd Marquis Boutin is TRiO retention adviser and tutor coordinator. An Auburn native who resides in Mechanic Falls, he is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served CMCC previously as a TRiO tutor and adjunct math instructor. He has worked for Androscoggin Head Start and at the Genesis Residential Treatment Facility and Renaissance House, an adolescent group home operated by St. Mary’s Health System.
