LEWISTON — Irene Theresa Moreau, 80, of Lewiston, passed away on Aug. 30, at St. Mary’s following a long illness. Irene was born in Lewiston on Oct. 1, 1930, to parents Albert and Lucienne Nolette.

She enjoyed her grandson, shopping and her pets.

Irene worked for a wonderful family for many years as a nanny. They were her second family and she loved them very much.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Moreau; her mother, Lucienne Nolette; and father, Albert Nolette.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa and husband Scott Peters, and Brenda Fortin and companion Paul Fournier; and a brother, Norman Nolette. She also leaves behind a grandson, Mathew Fortin.

Irene will be sadly missed and remembered always as the best mom ever!
