Returning athletes: Girls: Seniors — Alana Mallar, Lucy Knowlton; Junior — Maddie Wiegman; Sophomore — Abby Chase. Boys: Junior — Tim Enos; Sophomores — Rylee Knox, Colby Varney.

Key losses: Girls: Morgan Hill; Boys: Keith Lemelin.

Promising newcomers: Girls: Sophomore — Alisha Labbe; Freshmen — Brooke Varney, Olivia Mallar, Allison Heikkinen. Boys: Senior — Jared Richardson; Freshman — Nick Bachelder.

Outlook: While the boys’ team has just enough runners to make a full scoring team, Enos will be strong individually and as a leader to help the team achieve its goals. The girls’ team is talented and is expected to greatly improve last year’s KVAC and regional performances. Knowlton and Wiegman lead a strong group of girls going into the season.
