Outlook: A large group of seniors with a lot of varsity experience returns to this team as the Hornets look to make a deep playoff run this season. Eells is as solid as they come in the cage, and Newton, the Fichters and DeGone are a solid combination up front. Good play through the midfield is always a priority for Ward-McLean’s teams, and with the assembled talent, this team has a good chance to be in the conversation for a top tourney berth at the end of the season.
