AUBURN — The following children’s events will take place at the Auburn Public Library in September. For program information or registration, call 333-6640 or visit www.auburnpubliclibrary.org. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
Pre-School Story Time, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28. All gather in the Children’s Room and the children ages 3-5 (and experienced listeners who are almost three) move to the program room while their grown-ups and siblings remain behind to chat, choose books and make friends. Wednesday morning story programs are designed for children who are comfortable being in a group without their parent.
Sprouts, 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. Saturdays through May, in the Children’s Room. A lap sit program for babies through 36 months and their caregivers.
Sweet Peas, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Sept. 12, 13 and 26, in the Maggie Trafton Program Room. Lap sit program for children ages 24-36 months and a parent.
