PARIS — Selectmen from towns across Oxford County have been chosen for the 2012 Budget Committee.
The nine selectmen will review the 2012 general fund budget of Oxford County this fall.
According to Oxford County Administrator Scott Cole, the committee includes of Russ Newcomb of Norway, Bob Everett of Bethel, Rob Heard of Porter, Lee Holman of Hartford, Lisa Cummings of Canton, Brad Adley of Rumford, Fred Henderson of Greenwood, Rick Micklon of Otisfield and Floyd Thayer of Oxford.
Cole’s office will send a 2012 budget proposal to the commission and the Budget Committee on Oct. 7.
A public hearing on the budget is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Oxford County Courthouse. The committee will vote on the 2012 budget at a Nov. 15 meeting at the courthouse.
