Three local golfers recently registered holes-in-one.

Carol Whitman of Norway recently carded an ace at Paris Hill Country Club, using a 7-wood on the 126-yard eighth hole. Playing partners were Gene Murray of Turner and Harvey and Cathy Lamontagne of Norway.

Bruce Milliken of Lewiston recorded his second hole-in-one Saturday at Apple Valley Golf Course. Milliken used his 6-iron on the 147-yard, par-3 third hole. Lewis Perry, Bill Hunter and Al fares witnessed the shot.

Lewiston’s Sid Cohen celebrated an ace for the first time Monday at Springbrook Golf Club in Leeds. Cohen played a 6-iron to the 158-yard second hole. Carmen Cohen, Fred Warner and Rachel Newman also were in the group.
