Miami, Fla. — Laurette Dube, 96, of 1460 Ambra Drive, Melbourne, Fla., died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Baptist Medical Hospital while vacationing with her family in Miami, Fla.
She was born in St. Hubert P.Q. Canada on April 6, 1915, the daughter of Luc and Roseanna (Castonguay) Michaud, and had been a resident of this community since 1935.
She was married to O’nues Dube on June 17, 1935; he died on May 22, 1999.
Laurette was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ladies Auxiliary Fourth Degree Wallace Assembly Wives, Survivance Francaise, Marchandes de Bonheur and Association Canada Americaine.
She is survived by one daughter, Arleen Thomas and her husband, James, of Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Kenneth Dube of White Lake, Wis., and Delano Dube, of Benalla Victoria, Australia; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother and three sisters.
