Provencher — Theresa M., 92, of Lewiston, passed away at her residence Wednesday, Sept. 7.

She was born June 17, 1919, in Sherbrooke, Canada, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Verville) Bisson.

Theresa resided in Canada until the age of 14 and then moved to Lewiston. She was a parishioner of Prince of Peace Parish in Lewiston. Theresa loved knitting, making mittens, hats and scarves. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. At the age of 92, Theresa was still proud to have her drivers license and went out driving with her best friend, Mrs. Gagnon. Most of all, Theresa enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all of her family.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Pauline Labbe and her husband, Fern, of Lewiston; her 3 granddaughters: Cheryl Botts and her husband, Edward, of Alpharetta, Ga., Kelli Hebert and her husband, Don, of Lewiston, and Kim Labbe-Poisson and her husband, Dan, of Lisbon; her 4 great-grandchildren, Amanda Jones and her husband, Dustin, of Milton, Ga., Chelsea Hebert, of Lewiston, and Camdan and Mackenna Poisson, of Lisbon.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Provencher, in Feb. 2003, her grandson, Brian Labbe, and her 13 siblings.
