FARMINGTON — On Sept. 19, Franklin Health Dermatology will be open for business in new offices on the second floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus.

To reach the Medical Arts Center, patients should enter the Franklin Memorial Hospital main entrance, then take an immediate left. Follow the road approximately one-fourth mile to designated parking. Enter the building’s main entrance, then take either the stairs or elevator to the second floor to enter the medical practice.

The new location will better accommodate the growing number of patients seeking health care at the medical practice and provides easier access for patients to diagnostic services at the hospital, officials said. A waiting area for patients overlooks the hospital’s healing garden.

Franklin Health Dermatology opened in 2009 as the first dermatology-only medical practice based in Franklin County. Lead physician Dr. Joshua Sparling is board-certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
