LEWISTON — William R. “Bill” Keoskie was unexpectedly taken from us, Monday, Sept. 12, at 1 a.m. at Central Maine Medical Center. He was a very well known resident of Kingfield.
He was born Nov. 14, 1946, at Rumford Hospital, the son of Charles A. Keoskie and Mary R. Keoskie. He attended Gould Academy and was a graduate of Auburn Maine School of Commerce and Husson College.
He was awarded businessman of the year and was featured in Down East Magazine and many other various publications for his accomplishments in the business community. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Mount Abram Masonic Lodge in Kingfield. He recently received his 40-year pin and was also a member of the Shrine.
He is survived by father, Charles A. Keoskie; his aunt, Helen R. Cummings of Bethel, his uncle, Fenton Robertson and wife, Ethel, of Richmond, Calif.; sister, Carol and husband, Jim Morin; daughter, Shelley and husband, Brian Peterson, of Bethel; son, Robert Keoskie and fiancee, Sarah Delepine, of Portland; five grandchildren, Jesse Keoskie, Kameron Keoskie, Kaiden Keoskie, Kyle Peterson and Hayley Peterson; also many nieces and nephews.
Most importantly he was a loving and caring son, father and grandfather. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
