LIVERMORE FALLS — A mother and her seven children ages 1 to 13 were driven from their High Street home by fire Friday morning.
Bonny Grant and her children escaped unhurt and some of her children were barefoot as firefighters from Livermore Falls and surrounding towns battled the blaze at 46 High St.
Grant’s husband, Christopher, was at work in Wilton when the fire broke out shortly before 10:45 a.m.
Officials believe the fire started in an attached garage and spread to the house. According to a reporter at the scene, the house appeared to be heavily damaged.
Bonny Grant discovered the fire shortly after she went to the garage Friday morning. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
