PARIS — An Oxford County Commission meeting set for next week in Lynchtown Township is canceled due to scheduling conflicts with commissioners.

The commission will instead meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at its regular meeting place, the Oxford County Courthouse.

County Administrator Scott Cole said the meeting had been long-discussed and Sheriff Wayne Gallant worked to secure a meeting place at Bosebuck Mountain Camps in Lynchtown Township.

At a special meeting of the commission Wednesday, they voted to cancel the trip due to scheduling conflicts.

The agenda for Tuesday’s meeting has not been set, but Cole said the late-afternoon meeting will be brief.
