NORWAY — Raymond Alfred Roy, 81, of West Paris passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
He was born in Auburn, June 29, 1930, the son of George and Anna Flynn Roy. He graduated from high school in Auburn and served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Bonanza Bus Lines in the early 1990s after 30 years of service, where he had been employed as a coach operator.
He also worked for Reggie’s working on engines and carburetors. He married Marlene Yeaton on May 29, 1993. He enjoyed working with his tractor, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time on his boat. He was an avid football fan; Notre Dame and the Patriots.
He is survived by his wife of West Paris; his children, Ronald and his fiancee, Mary and Randall and his wife, Joann, all of Rhode Island, and Regina Baird and her husband, Dennis, of Florida; a brother, Bertrand and his wife, Jacqueline, of Minot; a sister, Rita Bernier and her husband, Roger, of Rhode Island; five grandchildren, Jasmin, Brandon, Martin, Maverick and Ryo; his stepchildren, Ritchie Dan of Norway, Walter Dan of Hebron and Anthony Dan of Auburn; five stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Irene, Annette and Yvette; and four brothers, Leo, Eugene, Roger and Gerald.
