WALES — Jamiel Kidd took a crossing pass from freshman Kyle Field and pushed it into the back of the net to break a tie and help Oak Hill upend Leavitt 3-2 in a KVAC boys’ soccer game Friday.

Field chipped the ball over the Hornets defense to hit Kidd in stride for the game winner with about 13 minutes left. Caleb Meservey put the Raiders (0-4-1) on the board first with an unassisted goal less than four minutes into the game. Kory Mulherin tied the game on an assist from Harrison Knowlton.

Trevor Samson scored Oak Hill’s first goal of the second half on a feed from Kidd. Leavitt (2-3) tied the score when Zach Hudner found the back of the net with 17 minutes remaining. Sam Morin made six saves in net to earn the victory. Ben Fullerton stopped three shots for Oak Hill in the loss.

Dirigo 1, Mountain Valley 0, OT

DIXFIELD — Junior forward Chad Snowman chipped in the game’s only goal 48 seconds into overtime to send Dirigo to a 1-0 victory over Mountain Valley.

Picking up a loose ball at the top of the circle, Jeremey Briggs put the ball in front of the net, drawing out Falcon (1-2-1) goalie Kyle Gauvin. Snowman flicked the ball over the goalie’s head for score. Gauvin stopped 13 shots in net.

Cougar (3-1) stopper Caleb Turner made nine saves in the shutout.

Lewiston 2, Brunswick 0

LEWISTON — Keeper Eric Soucy turned away all 12 shots he saw as Lewiston blanked Brunswick 2-0.

The Blue Devils (3-1-1) got the only score they needed when Dahir Muktar scored on an assist from Mohamed Ali. Benji Sabin put the finishing touches with a score off a penalty kick with 24 remaining.

Brunswick’s (2-1-2) Corey Walton made 15 saves in net in the loss.

St. Dom’s 0, Wiscasset 0

WISCASSET — St. Dom’s and Wiscasset boys’ soccer teams kept each other from scoring as they play to a 0-0 tie in double overtime.

The visiting Saints (3-0-1) outshot Wiscasset 10-4, but couldn’t push one past goalie Jason Weatherbee. The keeper for the Redskins (2-2-1) recorded seven saves. Senior Cam Hainey turned away all four shots he faced for St. Dom’s.

Mt. Blue 50, MDI 26

BAR HARBOR —?Mt. Blue rallied from an early two-touchdown deficit to pull even at the half, then scored on every possession in the third and fourth quarters on its way to a 50-26 victory over Mt. Desert Island in Eastern Class B football.

The Cougars (3-0) were down 20-6 against the Trojans (1-2) before erupting to hit the 50-point plateau for the second straight week.

Running backs Eric Berry and Izaiha Tracy combined for 157 yards and four touchdowns.

Jordan Whitney completed 19 of 23 passes for 196 yards and two TDs. Cam Sennick, Chad Luker and Calan Lucas each tacked on a touchdown for the Cougars, who host Gardiner in a PTC battle of unbeatens next week.

Tracy ran for 54 yards and two touchdowns on four carries and caught 6 passes for 55 yards and a TD that ignited four unanswered scores as the Cougars rallied from the slow start.

Berry added 12 carries for 103 yards.

MDI started the scoring early as Elias Burn reached the end zone two times in the first half. Burn finished with three touchdowns and 179 yards on 28 carries. Jason Burke contributed a rushing touchdown and 124 yards on 10 carries for MDI.

Wells 40, Gray-NG 0

GRAY — Senior tailback Louis Ditamasso scored three touchdowns to lead Wells to a 40-0 rout over Gray-New Gloucester in football action Friday night.

Ditamasso scored two touchdowns in the first quarter for the Warriors. His second was an impressive 45-yard run.

Wells recorded 20 points in each of the halves to blank the Patriotic Knights.
