AUBURN — Tracy L. Williams, 42, of Jay, died early Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Androscoggin Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 23, 1969, in Farmington, the daughter of Richard E. “Cud” and Joan L. (Davis) Greenleaf. Tracy graduated from Jay High School and went on to attend Mid-State College.
In 1999, she married Michael Williams at the Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Wilton. They made their home in Jay raising two wonderful children, Travis and Tara.
Tracy was employed as a loan officer at the Otis Federal Credit Union in Jay, where she had worked for the past 12 years.
Her greatest pleasure came in the day-to-day activities of her children, particular their sports endeavors. She also loved going camping with her family, especially at the Lobster Buoy Campground in South Thomaston.
She is survived by her parents, Richard E. “Cud” and Joan Greenleaf of Jay; her husband, Michael and their children, Travis and Tara, of Jay; father and mother-in-law, Maynard and June Williams of Wilton; brother, Terry Greenleaf and his wife, Stacy, of Jay; maternal grandmother, Ina “Nana” Davis of Wilton; nieces and nephews, Caleb, Cody, Carson, Connor, Carly, Cathryn and Marlana; special friends, Tammy Ferland, Joyce Goding and Deidra Tozier; and all of the Otis Federal Credit Union family.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Lloyd “Bampa” Davis in 1992; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Arlene Greenleaf.
