RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 127 complaints from midnight Sept. 8 to midnight Sept. 18.
Charges
Sept. 8 at 11:30 a.m., Jeffery Hill, 23, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Cumberland Street with violation of conditions of release. Hill is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 9 at 9:20 p.m., Gerald Fontaine, 57, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Washington Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Fontaine posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 9 at 10:37 p.m., Dennis Smith, 55, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Smith was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 10 at 1:43 a.m., David Moore, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street on a charge of disorderly conduct and trafficking in prison contraband. Moore was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on Dec. 16.
Sept. 10 at 2:28 p.m., John Siciliana, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Hancock Street on a charge of domestic violence assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. Siciliana was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.
Sept. 11 at 5:31 p.m., Edward Vidito, 49, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Prospect Avenue on a charge of Theft. Vidito, who is accused of stealing an $18 propane tank, is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.
Sept. 11 at 8:20 p.m., Thomas Dion, 43, of Mexico was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Main Street in Mexico on a charge of displaying a fictitious sticker. Dion posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 11 at 11:04 p.m., Erik Bernard, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Cumberland Street on a warrant charging failure to pay fines for criminal trespass and obstructing report of a crime. Bernard was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
Sept. 12 at 1:30 a.m., Katelynn Giasson, 22, of Peru was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Hancock Street with violation conditions of release. Giasson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.
Sept. 13 at 9 a.m., Tausha Plante, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Officer Eric Richard on River Street on a warrant charging failure to appear for a theft. Plante posted $300 cash bail and was released.
Sept. 13 at 3 p.m., Michael Ratcliff, 21, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Hancock Street with criminal mischief. Ratcliff is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 13 at 6:14 p.m., Tabatha McLaughlin, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. McLaughlin posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.
Sept. 14 at 2:07 p.m., David Moore, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street on a charge of domestic violence assault and violation conditions of release. Sept. 14 at 8:33 p.m., Natasha Justard, 24, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Franklin Street with operating after suspension. Justard is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 14 at 10:29 p.m., Jeremy Vashaw, 38, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Somerset Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Vashaw posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Sept. 15 at 3:53 a.m., Eric Belanger, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Belanger posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Sept. 16 at 5:57 p.m., Judith Walker, 62, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Oxford Avenue on a charge of domestic violence assault & threatening. Walker was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.
Sept. 17 at 11:30 p.m., Joshua Bernard, 27, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Maine Avenue on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and theft. Bernard posted $1,400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on Dec. 16.
Assault
Sept. 11 at 2:27 p.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated an assault on Oxford Avenue. The victim refused to press charges.
Sept. 16 at 7:15 p.m., acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an assault on York Street. The victim refused to press charges.
Burglary
Sept. 12 at 3:35 p.m., Cpl. Lawrence Winson investigated a burglary at a convenience store on Route 2.
Sept. 15 at 1:39 a.m., Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated a burglary at an apartment on Cumberland Street.
Criminal mischief
Sept. 11 at 7:07 a.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated damaged tail lights on a vehicle on Washington Street. No estimate of loss.
Theft
Sept. 10 at 2:58 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated a gas drive-off from a Route 2 business. Estimated loss: $17. The person was located and returned to pay the bill.
Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., Patrolman Hart Daley investigated the theft of an ATV ramp valued at $250 from Crescent Avenue. The District Attorney is reviewing the case for possible charges.
Sept. 16 at 10:04 a.m., Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating the theft of a glider valued at $400 from Hancock Street.
Sept. 16 at 10:02 p.m., acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated a gas drive-off from a Hancock Street business. Estimated loss: $15. Incident under investigation.
Wanted
Marguerite Dodds, 42, Dixfield, is wanted on two Rumford District Court warrants charging failure to appear for assault and disorderly conduct. The warrant is dated Sept. 14, 2011.
