Breakfast, bake sale

DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Congregational Church on the Hill will hold a harvest themed breakfast and bake sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.

On the menu are pumpkin waffles, apple French toast and eggs cooked to order. Baked goods will also be sold. For more information, call 562 7095.

Sermon topic

PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, on Sunday, Sept. 25. Her sermon topic will be titled “Hard to Swallow.” Forest Perkins will direct the music and Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School. Child care is provided. The Coffee Hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is invited.

Business workshops

BETHEL — SCORE & AVCOG will present New Business Planning workshops beginning Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Telstar High School. The workshops will be presented on consecutive Wednesdays for four weeks.

Topics will include business plan preparation, marketing, cash flow and financing.

The $50 fee includes one person and business partner for all four workshops.
