LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Lions plan a big day full of fun and fundraising events for Apple Pumpkin Festival to be held Saturday, Sept. 24.

Community members and festival goers are invited to a pancake breakfast with all the fixin’s from 8 to 10 a.m. at the American Legion. 17 Reynolds Ave. (across from the Family Dollar mall).Cost is $5 adults, $3 for kids under 10.

As festival goers move toward the festival grounds they will encounter the JLF Lions Treasure Chest Tag Sale, a one-of-a-kind tag sale with offerings from fine China to exercise equipment.

Activities at the festival grounds will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lions block, a big, white canopy with the Lions logo. “A Fun Fest” booth for children will offer hands-on activities and game with prizes.

Lion Shawn Holt from New York Life will be on site to provide a child personal identification record with a photo ID.

There will be 50/50 tickets available throughout the day.
