LEWISTON — Robert Brown Clark, 82, of 18 Elliott Ave., Lewiston, died Sunday, Sept. 18, in Lewiston.

He was born in Lewiston, July 30, 1929, the son of Percy and Arvilla Brown Clark. Educated in local schools, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1947, and served as a military policeman.

On Nov. 20, 1948, he married the former Rita Pinard, his loving wife of the past 63 years. He worked for Lee Auto Mall for more than 51 years, retiring as manager of the parts department.

After his retirement, he worked parttime as a deliveryman for Roak the Florist until this past July.

A member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Prince of Peace Parish, he is survived by his wife, Rita, of Lewiston; a son, Gary Clark and partner, Michael Niles, of Portland; and a sister, Beverly and husband, Thomas Lanois, of Sabattus.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Raymond Joseph Clark, on Nov. 10, 1991.
