PARKER, Ariz. — Therese M. LeBlanc of Roxbury Road, Mexico, died Sept. 13, in Parker, Ariz.

She was born in Notre Dame des Bois, Quebec, Canada, the 11th child of 12, to Arthur and Josephine (Dube) Dupuis.

Therese attended normal school in Sherbrooke, Canada, and taught in a one-room schoolhouse in St. Leon, Quebec. In 1947, she immigrated to the state of Maine, where she worked as a waitress and at the Oxford Paper Co., until she met Florent LeBlanc. They married in 1949, and spent 60 years together.

Therese was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Daughters of Mary, and was one of the founders of the Hope Association. She volunteered at the What Not Shop for many years.

Therese was a lifelong member of St. Theresa’s Parish in Mexico.

She was a devoted housewife and mother. We love mama and miss her very much.

Surviving are her five children, Vivian and Louise LeBlanc of Parker, Ariz., Jean LeBlanc of Fort Kent, Francine Bernard of Rumford Point and Paul LeBlanc of Bristol, R.I.; two brothers, Albert Dupuis and Wilfred Dupuis; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Florent LeBlanc.
