PEMAQUID — The wedding of Courtney Foster and Michael Fossett was held at 11 a.m. on July 17 at the home of the parents of the bridegroom in Pemaquid. Sandra Wood, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Fossett is the daughter of Scott Foster of Winthrop and Lisa West of Wiscasset. Mr. Fossett is the son of James and Meredith Fossett of Pemaquid.

The bride’s gown was accented with an aqua sash and she carried a bouquet of Gerbera daisies.

Christina Shackelford, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Brandi Vassiliou, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaids were Gabrielle Millett and Chelsea Hinds, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Phoebe Vassiliou, niece of the bridegroom.

Serving as best man for his friend was Clay Gilbert. Theo Vassiliou, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lakehurst in Damariscotta, after which the couple traveled to Frye Island at Sebago. They are residing in Walpole.

The bride is a graduate of Wiscasset High School and is currently employed as a patient registration clerk at St. Andrew’s Hospital in Boothbay Harbor.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lincoln Academy and is a lobsterman fhsing out of South Bristol.
