Brendan O’Brien

GREENE — Kathryn Grefer-Kirkland and Allan L. Kirkland of Greene proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Juliana Kirkland of Greene, to Brendan O’Brien of Mont Vernon, N.H.

Miss Kirkland is a 2008 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and plans to graduate from Bates College in May 2012 with dual bachelor degrees in anthropology and religion and a minor in history. She will continue her education by attending law school in the fall of 2012.

Mr. O’Brien is the son of William and Roxanne O’Brien of Mont Vernon, N.H. He is a 2011 graduate of Bates College in Lewiston with a degree in economics. He is currently pursuing his jurist doctorate degree at the University of Maine School of Law.

The couple plans to stay in the New England area and continue their careers in law. They will be married at Bates College in the evening on June 1, 2012.
