LISBON — No injuries were reported and combined damage was estimated at $6,000 in a two-car, rear-end crash on Route 196 in Lisbon Falls Monday.

Officer Shawn Kelly identified the drivers as Nathan Rioux, 17, and Anissa Mains, 30, both of Lisbon Falls.

According to Kelly both vehicles were traveling in a westerly direction on Route 196 when Rioux stopped to make a left turn onto River Road. Mains was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision, striking the rear of Rioux’s car.

Kelly estimated damage at $2,500 to Rioux’s 1996 Honda Accord and at $3,500 to Mains’ 1996 Mercury Sable in the 12:22 p.m. crash.
