AUBURN — George Hamm, a Maine native who has performed worldwide, from Bejing to the Bellagio, will perform on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Fireside Inn.
Hamm, known for his longtime association with Bob Marley, is one of the most popular headliners at The Comedy Connection in Portland. He also recently headlined the inaugural Maine Comedy Festival in Bethel.
Joining Hamm onstage will be Auburn’s Ryan Waning, another Maine Comedy Festival participant. Waning is a touring stand-up comic with recent performances at The Comedy Connection in Portland, Joker’s Wild in New Haven, Conn., and The Comedy Connection in Rhode Island. He was recently the featured performer at Boston’s Orpheum Theater alongside Comedy Central’s Vanessa Hollingshead.
Waning also produces his own weekly comedy show, “Retro Reunion,”which will make its debut at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club in the Twin River casino in Lincoln, R.I., later this fall.
