Commitment and sustainability — these words help steer us in every thought, action and activity that we undertake on behalf of our members, their businesses and our community.

Through the years, the Chamber has been consistently striving to be the voice of business in our community. We remain committed to providing our members with access to continuous opportunities for growth, education and sustainability for their business.

With a future that promises to be even brighter, it is important for us to carry on our momentum by having an active and growing membership that is involved in our programs and supports the other Chamber members in our community. We are an organization that is very much volunteer driven and we are forever grateful to the dedicated individuals who volunteer their time on behalf of the Chamber.

Key to a successful member-Chamber relationship is taking advantage of the benefits and services that are available to your business. We all get frustrated when we subscribe to a magazine and never read it, or rent a DVD and never watch it. Don’t let your membership pass you by.

As we transition to our new website, we have been spending a significant amount of time creating new materials that clearly outline the many benefits of Chamber membership and how you can put them to work for your organization. We’ve been researching a variety of new programs and initiatives to consider adding to our package of opportunities, and the mood at the Welcome Center is nothing short of enthusiastic! We hope that you and your employees take advantage of all the Chamber has to offer.

The Chamber focuses its efforts on improving local economic conditions and supporting the business community. With 250 member businesses and growing, the Chamber is the leading business association in Franklin County and prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to both its members and the thousands of visitors that come to the Chamber’s Welcome Center, call or email annually for information and referrals.

In addition to these efforts, the Chamber’s primary objective is to meet the needs of its members through constant evaluation and improvements to our products, services, and staff. As the Chamber’s new Executive Director, I sincerely hope you join us in our efforts to make Franklin County an economically thriving business community as we collectively lead the way to our region’s future. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions on how the Chamber can better serve the businesses or community of Franklin County, please contact me at 778-4215. I sincerely appreciate your feedback, and wish you a wonderful fall season.
