RUMFORD — Funeral services with Military Honors for Walter J. “Jim” Hutchins of Rumford were conducted Thursday at the Meader and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Shaw officiating. Music selections were “Farther Along” sung by Johnny Cash and “Grampa Told Me So.” Words of remembrance were given by niece, Jane Averill and friends, Gloria Richards and Ann Brewer. Military Honors were conducted by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. A reception followed the services at the home of Sylvia and Jim Hutchins in Rumford.
