Duchesne
OQUOSSOC — The wedding of Katherine Marie Belanger and Dustin Charles Duchesne was held at 2 p.m. on June 25 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Oquossoc. The Rev. Paul Plante officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Duchesne is the daughter of Andre Belanger of Farmington and Doreen Belanger of Westbrook. Mr. Duchesne is the son of David and Donna Duchesne of Rangeley.
The bride wore a chiffon A-line gown with side draped bodice, beaded lace, lace-up back and sweeping train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis. The bouquet was wrapped in an antique blue necklace that belonged to her great-grandmother.
Lisa Isgro was maid of honor for her best friend. Bridesmaids were Amy Belanger, Andrea Belanger and Sara Martin.
Serving as best man was Charles House, best friend. Ushers were Daniel Duchesne, Devin Duchesne and Derrek Belanger.
A reception followed at Saddleback Mountain Base Lodge. A pre-wedding honeymoon was held in the Caribbean in April and the post-wedding honeymoon will be held in Austria this winter. The couple is residing in Farmington and Doha, Qatar.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where she received her degree in education. She is employed by the Mt. Blue Regional School District in Farmington as a middle school math teacher.
The bridegroom attended Central Maine Community College in Auburn. He is currently employed by Atlantic CommTech as a back-up power systems technician.
