AUBURN — Funeral services honoring the life of Carol Buteau were held Saturday afternoon from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with the Rev. Roland Jacques presiding.
During the service, words of remembrance were shared by Carol’s niece, Janesa Williams, who spoke of Carol’s grandchildren who adored their grandmother. Carol’s son, Michael, shared with those in attendance his wife, Emily’s memories of having a wonderful mother-in-law who was a real grandmother to their young children. Carol’s sister, Maureen Williams, shared memories of an older sister that she will always cherish.
In conclusion, close family friend, Heather Marichial, sang “Amazing Grace.” All in attendance were then invited to greet the Buteau family with a personal condolence after which all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Carol’s home in Auburn. Burial will be held later in the family plot at Garcelon Cemetery, Lewiston.
