Elizabeth Hartung

LEWISTON — Delice Miller of Lewiston is announcing the engagement of her son, Nicholas Daniel Miller of Lewiston, to his best friend and sweet love, Elizabeth Anne Hartung, daughter of Nola and Michael Hartung of San Diego, Calif.

Miss Hartung grew up in San Diego, where she graduated from Point Loma High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in geological sciences. She has worked as a geologist for a geotechnical and environmental firm for the past six years.

Mr. Miller, a graduate of Lewiston High School, earned his bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. On a whim, he decided to move to San Diego, where he earned his master’s degree in health care administration. He currently works for a medical software company.

They plan to marry in a beach wedding in San Diego in November.
