BREWER — Kenneth L. Beal, 56, of Ashland and Brewer, died of a fatal heart attack Sept. 22, at his home in Brewer.

He was born June 5, 1955, the son of Frank and Ruth Burrill Beal. He was educated in the schools of Ashland, graduating from A.C.H.S. in the Class of 1973. He worked at various jobs in Aroostook County before moving to the Bangor-Brewer area, where he worked for Lenforder Co. before retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, reading and watching Red Sox baseball.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Ruth Beal of Wilton; two brothers, Keith Beal of Waterville and Kevin Beal of Portland; and a sister, Karen St. Peter of Mapleton.
